SRE – Candidate must be AWS infrastructure expert. How the platform works, what issues can occur and how to have multiple approaches to fix such issues and make the environment continuously scalable and reliable. Must have great monitoring experience and inside out knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana etc. Resource should be quite senior in terms of experience, so that we can expect them to have exposure to multiple complex scenarios.
I have seen candidate coming from larger enterprise clients get shortlisted more often because smaller companies do not have a distinguished Site Reliability role.
